I made over $3,000.00 grocery shopping!
After arriving back home in Los Angeles, from a long month in New York. I started up my Instacart Shopper journey instantly. If your not familiar with Instacart - it's an app that let's your place your grocery order, specify a scheduled time for delivery and forget it. Shoppers then pick your order, shop the items you've requested, and if for any reason an item can not be found there's suggested options. Aside from the suggested options the shopper can call or text the recipient of the groceries and communicate about other potential replacements.
I worked less than 40 hours a week!
I would ideally start my day around 6:30/7AM and end around 12 noon. Most orders are no more than about 30-40 items. Averaging anywhere from $32 - $50+ for large orders, with the lowest I've seen starting at $7. Orders include tips as well! So going the extra mile to find all the customer items, or replacements helps increase your tips as well! The most i've been tipped so far has been $32, part was in the order and then I received cash as well. Cash tips are optional as some customers choose no to include tip in the order.
